Who this covers

This policy explains how [legal name to be added], [registered address to be added] (“Rowkit”) handles personal information when you visit this website, create an account, or use Rowkit. For the data you store in your workspace, you decide what goes in and we act on your behalf to keep it and show it back to you.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and the organizations and roles you belong to. Sign-in and identity are handled with our authentication provider.
  • Workspace data: the tables, records, files, automations and settings you and your members create, and the keys you issue to agents.
  • Billing details: the plan or workspace you buy, amounts, GST details you give us, invoices and payment status. Card and UPI details are entered with the payment company and not stored by Rowkit.
  • Activity records: important events such as schema, record, member and API-key changes, which owners can review as an audit trail, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
  • Messages: what you send when you contact support.
  • Website usage: this marketing site can count visits and link clicks to understand how it is used. This is limited to metadata such as which link was clicked. It does not include workspace data, and it is switched off when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Why we use it

We do not sell personal information and we do not use your workspace data to advertise to you.

  • To provide Rowkit: run your workspace, apply roles and permissions, run automations you set up, and show you your data.
  • To take payments, issue invoices, handle GST and refunds, and pay creators their revenue share.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and investigate problems.
  • To answer you and send service messages such as receipts, price-change notices and security notices.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

  • Licensed payment companies that process your payments, UPI AutoPay mandates and refunds, and the banks involved.
  • Service providers that host and run Rowkit, handle authentication, and send email, who may only use the data to provide their service to us.
  • Creators of a workspace you buy: we tell them that you bought it and the commercial details needed for their payout. They do not get access to your workspace data unless you explicitly grant a support access to a workspace.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
  • A successor, if Rowkit is merged or sold, with the same protections for your information.

How we protect it

Access is kept inside the organization boundary: workspaces and membership resolve inside your active organization, human access follows owner, builder, editor and viewer roles, and agent keys are bound to a single app with a fixed set of permissions. Owners can review important events in an audit trail. These controls are described on the Security page.

We do not claim external security certifications. No system is perfectly secure, so please use strong sign-in methods and give people and agents only the access they need. If a breach affecting your personal information happens, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep workspace data while your account is active. You can export it at any time, including after you cancel. When a workspace is closed or refunded, we offer an export first and then archive it. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

Your choices and rights

To use any of these, write to [support email to be added]. We may need to confirm it is you first.

  • See and correct your account details in the product, or ask us to.
  • Export your workspace data.
  • Ask us to delete your account and personal information, except what we must keep by law.
  • Withdraw consent you gave us, and ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Make a complaint to our Grievance Officer below. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India or the relevant authority under Indian law.

Children

Rowkit is for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and you should not create an account for a child under 18.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top and tell you about material changes by email or in the product.
